Four days left before departure and I'm just about to start my last day in the office. I've been working in the financial services industry for the past 5 years doing back office work. While the job isn't as exciting as it sounds, I did meet a lot of interesting folks and made some solid friendships along the way, and it's these people that I'm going to miss during my year off.
In any case, we've been so busy getting ready for this trip, we've barely had any down time. The benefit of this is that the days fly by, getting us closer to our departure date. However, we have a busy weekend ahead of us with a final few good-byes, packing the remainder of our stuff, preparing our apartment and getting in one last big workout.
